This is an Oil Pastel Painting of my brother, Lanny Charton at the age of 25.  He died of leukemia and complications related to a bone marrow transplant January 18, 1999 at the age of 29.

I am Jennifer Ferdinandsen and rendering people and pets has always been a passion of mine.  I have studied with Master Teachers at The School of Visual Arts & Purchase College and have a Bachelors Degree in Fine Arts.

My paintings are based on photographs supplied by my customers or, if you live locally, I can arrange to personally photograph your subject.

By basing my paintings on photographs I save on travel costs and time and I pass those savings along to clients like you.

Loved ones and pets are reproduced with exacting care.  Your Fine Art Portrait is complete when I am satisfied that I have reproduced my subject faithfully.

It is especially rewarding for me to compose Posthumous Portraits of your deceased loved ones.  In this way you will always have a tangible reminder that they are never far from your heart.

The average cost of a 9"X12" Portrait ranges from $150-$200.  This is for a single subject Head & Shoulders shot as depicted above.  Custom options are available & pricing does increase for additional subjects or larger pieces.
